It was a long weekend coming up, and everyone I knew was planning to go home or on vacation. I was excited too, as I had planned a road trip and was excited about the new Adventure. I booked my flight to Delhi, from where I was going to rent a car and travel to Manali.

I had travelled solo earlier, but this was going to be my first solo drive. I had packed only essentials, and I decided to buy things on the way if needed. I had my cabin luggage and ID card ready and left for the airport.
